So I've just about paid off the investment on parts including a battery that did not really work out. Overall the project has been a success. I feel like I've learned a lot about electric bikes and what works well and not.
At this point, as the weather begins to get colder I'll continue to ride the entire 20 mile distance hopefully until we get s decent amount of snow. I'll probably have to get some warmer outerwear as well. I think the main problem with snowy

weather is the loss of safe riding space along the side of the road as the excess snow builds up.
My best time so far this year was one Sunday when there was not traffic and I made the 20 mile ride in to the mission in 1 hour 3 minutes. A normal trip tends to take around 1 hour 15 minutes. Not bad!
For now I'll be ending the single purpose focus of my Blog. I'll still make occasional comments on this specific project but hope to expand the focus into other areas of interest and general observations on my life (it was my 49th birthday yesterday), and travels in and around Boston and the North Shore.
Thanks to everyone who followed my blog so far.
